Programme aim
Run as two complementary modules, the programme aims to
examine
the changing role of the consultant/change agent in the
public service
and the range of strategies for making powerful

improving organisational performance.
Module two is aimed at providing participants with
opportunities to
practice a number of efficiency improvement and consultancy
techniques
with a view to enabling them to apply these skills in their
own
organisation.
The Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials (CMCE)
The CMCE is awarded by the Institute of Management
Consultancy –
part of the Chartered Institute of Management. Delegates
attending both
Modules of this programme are able to work for the CMCE
(which is
included in the overall 4 week fee). This involves completing the
programme and a project within 6 weeks after the programme. The
Director of Studies will act as guide and mentor for the
CMCE.
